The chink CPU is beaten by 72core Atom in *theoretical performance*. Given how wimpy the cores in the ShenWei are, the real-world performance is going to be half at best.

face it, non-x86 is only viable for people who run small codebases(feasible to port) on huge clusters.
The only people i can think of that fit the bill are researchers and a handful of special industry clients.
