So how come it's ok for Asians to be grossly overrepresented in the tech sector, but if white people are even slightly overrepresented, even by a couple of percent, it's a great social injustice and an offense to society?

The sad truth is that your analysis is spot on. They seem to dislike Asians in general. It's harder for a person of Asian descent to get into a quality university, and yet they are still overrepresented there despite all the obstacles and the lack of political representation.
