Button on the front with sensor is stupid because you have 2 buttons that can wake the phone (lock and home) but only one that can actually unlock it, and only one that can lock it.

But when the lock button is on the side and includes the sensor:

I got my LG G3 almost two years ago, a 1440p was stupid then and is stupid now.
You cannot tell the difference at a normal viewing distance, no matter what you look at.
I'd much rather have the extra battery life that you get with 1080p

I'd love the case (and most phone cases in general) if it didn't look so ugly and half-assed exposing the top and bottom of the phone, and have huge button cutouts. I did order some clear case on Amazon because it was only $2.
Mine comes in another day. Should be a modest upgrade from my Galaxy S5; the screen is essentially the same (sans calibration), and the battery is even slightly larger on the OP3. Good enough.
Of course it's still fucking stupid Android Pay breaks as soon as you install Xposed, surprisingly not from rooting/unlocking as I hear, but at least I can do all this without permanently voiding my warranty like on Samsung.
