Hi, /g/. I have a shitty logitech deskmic and it's okay, but it picks up everything in my entire house. Is this something that would improve with higher quality mics, such as pic related, or would I have to attach a mic to my headphones so it's closer to my face? Thx.

You need a directional mic.

I'm currently using the Blue Snowball and it's more than fine for audio quality however it does pick up a lot of background noise, I would go with a more directional pic if I were you.

Apparently blue snowball has a cardioid which reduces background noise, is that what you're using right now? If so, it looks like the blue yeti is closer to what I want.
