School is out. It's surplus season!

What did you get?

Today I got this Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP for $40. I think it's a pretty good find. It's a wide-gamut monitor that needs a custom color profile to be used properly.

Thrift store finds are also welcome!

The government surplus auctions in my state sell shit in huge lots rather than 1 thing at a time. Last summer I got 170 thinkpad x60 tablets for $800. Recently I also got 27 Panasonic tough book cf-30s for $550 and 100 dell latitude d620s for $400.

Also got this little Thinkpad X201 for $10. It has the battery and RAM included, so all I have to do is find a hard drive and power adapter. This will probably become my laptop for taking around places.

I got two other thinkpads for $10 too. They are each T400s.

I hate it when they do the online actions. Everything always goes a lot higher than when you have to actually go to the place to bid on shit

It was the opposite today. People were going -insane- over Core 2 Duo machines that are knocking on death's door of obsolescence right now. Paying over ebay prices.

I don't think they're going to get even dumb normalfags to pay enough to make a profit on selling them, and parts machines can only go so far.

I picked up a nice Dell Latitude E4310 with 4gb of ram on monday for $60
>>
I didn't even know the school system near me had so many computers, they've sold about 2000 desktops and 200 laptops this month.

It slipped under the radar. PC parts dealers are obsessed with Dells.

Also holy crap does downscaled 4k video look great on this thing since it can take advantage of the wide gamut.
