For me lack of ports, lack of overall power. The surface and most tablets are about still universally known as not being quite able to replace a laptop, let alone a desktop. For a basic computer sure it is fine and dandy, but you are still stuck with windows and and very un-customizable machine.

Dude, there are surfaces with an i7 and 8gb of ram.
I got the 4gb and i5 Version with 520 Graphics though.
