Unless you're watching it on a large screen at an optimal distance with a proper audio setup with surround sound why bother with quality rips?
Besides most movies are mediocre at best. There's probably only a very small handful of movies worth watching in it's highest quality. But even then, why sit and waste an hour if not more of your time solely watching a movie?

I grew up in a era where most shows were SD anyway, and I love them all the same. Who gives a fuck it the movie is compressed 720p or 1080p. As long as I can properly see what's going on, i'm fine.
