Note: I don't care about storage because I have everything on 10TB RAID thingy. No, I don't care about SSD vs HDD unless you convince me about which is better than the other. Also, I should mention that I have been doing IT work for 6 years.

This, I have both and unless the small extra mobility of the t420 is crucial the 1080p panel of the t/w520 is worth the size.
