It used to be, but nowadays it's the same shit. Consoles were GOAT in the times when all you had to do is put a cartridge in and hit the power button and you had the game. No buggy rushed releases with gigabytes of updates, no unoptimized games with shitty performance etc. It used to be great. But somebody had to fuck things up and now all we have are a few hours of graphic demos.

I think those are very good points. Console generations are generally three to four years apart so if you have an Xbox One now there is no reason to get an S when you will see the new generation in a year, and if you don't have one now there's also no reason to get an S when you could get the standard edition for cheaper and play all the same games, and then get the next generation next year when there is an actual selection of UHDBD content to choose from.
This isn't as retarded as the waitfags in the GPU scene where new cards are released every 6~9 months.

No, I just have reasons, and they go beyond just exclusives. I have a gaming PC in my "games room", I have an Xbone, 360 and a PS4 in my livingroom and Xbone in my bedroom, I like having it all, and I don't want to build a PC for each room (or buy a pre-built one). Also, my 4 year old daughter loves video games, but she's not having access to my PC, so the consoles are good for her, and I have a lot of friends who don't have PCs, so multiplayer is another reason.
