Sadly, yes. A combination of errors.
1 - Made the mistake of allowing unfiltered traffic through an IPv6 tunnel
2 - Enable IPv6 on test SAN
3 - Hit by heart bleed on SAN
No serious damage, but I've literally erased and reloaded everything, including switches and network devices. JTAG made it possible.

My friend had about 12 dedicated servers for his business, and for some way the datacenter was configured, his server was being accessed by about 20 different Chinese ip's.
We found out that it was DDoS'ing other servers in the datacenter and got into them, that got into others, that started even more... Like a chain reaction. Some kind of SYN Flood, caused cpu to go to 100% and all of the bandwidth used up.
Never knew what caused it, me and the owner just laughed off our asses as every single server in the datacenter was fucked up. Was fun to try to block china ip's and watch 10 more pop up a minute later.
Later that week we had the datacenter reinstall Linux on it and everything was good from there on.
