I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and now the ethernet connection does not work, it does not show my wifi and the Ethernet cable connection does not work either.

Download ethernet drivers, should be on the dvd that comes with the mobo.

When installing windows, you will also need the necessary drivers, including the driver for wifi Internet connection. For example, I installed win 7 enterprise on my T420, so I went to the Lenovo website and found a page specifically for T420 drivers. Downloaded wifi drivers and let windows update fill out the rest.
