Curved TVs are a total meme. Unless you go like 100 inches, the effect is negligible.

Make sure they are HDR and WCG ready. There were a lot of 4K's that were released that do not have these features so they are already outdated. If you want to play new 4K Blurays you will need these features.

Sony is the top dog in 4K tvs at the moment, Samsung licence their tech for for Quantum Dots but I don't think they will partner up like they did for LCD production

OLED is not a meme, it looks amazing. The problem is that nobody has owned an LG oled tv for long enough to see it burn in or anything as far as I know.
