question about system security:
I've been using fde with dm/luks and the initramfs on a flash drive that I carried with me all the time up until now.
Recently I figured that it's not a big difference to disk encryption with initramfs on same disk or even just encrypting your home folder, because as soon as somebody gets physical access to your devices and you continue to use them afterwards, you are fucked.
What's /fucko/s opinion on this? Should I make my system much more comfy (booting directly into gui) by only encrypting the home folder with all my stuff?
