Mpc with the built in lav filters is fine on its own, but I would get mad vr for it as well. You can also get ffdshow to pair with it, but it's not necessary.

I don't see the point of MPC-HC anymore. If you want an easy to use player, then VLC is better. If you're somewhat technically adept, then you should be using mpv instead.
