Sometimes the conditional requires initialization, and do-while is a more elegant way of phrasing that.
you can use a for loop as a while loop

i forget which is which, but one runs at least once regardless of the condition, and the other only runs if the condition is met to begin with
while() {/**stuff**/}
Has the potential to never be run if the while() is false during the first time.
do {/**stuff**/} while()
Will always run at least once, before checking the while()
