Not according to this - http://www.linuxfoundation.org/news-media/announcements/2015/02/linux-foundation-releases-linux-development-report

Microsoft is in the top 20 at best.

Uh huh. I didn't say THE top, I said one of the top. Top 20 still applies.

Who said I don't?

Your data is a little old. About 4 years or so...

So you move the goalposts and now admit that they are not what any reasonable person would consider "top" to be, i.e. top 10, top 5, top 3 etc.? They ain't even in the top 10 contributors so I'd say they don't contribute enough to take your comment seriously.

>Your data is a little old. About 4 years or so...

I knew you would fall back on the 'age' argument. So, if you have a more up to date list of current contributions, I am waiting on you proving your statement. Otherwise, fuck off.

Reading comprehension escapes you, doesn't it? I didn't move shit.

For the 3.2 kernel, there were nearly 1300 devs, from ~225 companies. Top 20 still puts Microsoft as one of the top.

> I knew you would fall back on the 'age' argument.
Old data is old. And an updated list has already been provided in thread.

netbios has been a security issue for a while now, that and llmnr allows for capturing of domain credentials (which still require cracking of the hash).

businesses that value what they do have already disabled nbns and llmnr. my work shut down llmnr, however we had to leave netbios on because weve still got a bunch of older machines dating back to windows nt running plc equipment and cant be disabled.

Yes, you did. I am not going to argue past this post as you are clearly defective. Microsoft are not in the top 10 contributors, you have not supplied any evidence to support your spurious and vague claim other than (A VERY OLD) kernel.

Go on, have the last word, you poor excuse for abortion.
