The build quality is good, I'm trying to twist it apart with my fingers but the build is very solid. The sensor I feel is a little too sensitive, there's no real way to go on a very low dpi without dicking around in control panel. No noticeable change going up-down left-right. Bought on the 6th of June for $29.09 off Gaybeast after a GoodBoypoints deduction of 584points, just got here today.
When turning on/off the unit makes a water bubble sound effect, build quality is solid.
Coupling it with my phone doesn't make it shout BLUETOOTHMODE in a Chinese accent like most chink bluetooth speakers which is a plus.
Pressing the battery/bluetooth button does make it speak Chinese (assuming that it says how much battery power is left since I don't know and the manual is in Chinese too.)
Would recommend for sure, Xiaomi does not disappoint as it sounds great and it even comes in a neat little drawstring baggy made of a fleece like material.

Any good chink SSD's? I'm thinking of finally putting cfw on my ps3, but it still has the 40gb hdd in it. I need the ssd/hdd I put in it to be fairly cheap, because that hardware flasher I need is already 70-80 euro and I'm not even sure I can do it without fucking up and bricking my console.

This is what I do. The only time I buy from digikey/mouser or other electronics distributors is when I need something to a certain spec (like if I need a part with a datasheet to make a footprint, or a capacitor to with certain properties - or I just want dat shit asap because my Chinese boards arrived)
I tend to pay the little extra and order from digikey for stuff that plugs into the wall (110vac) or high voltage stuff. (that said I do sometimes do it since i'm cheap and nothing horrible has gone wrong) Solder is hit and miss from china, some of it is fine, some of it is total garbage.
If you're getting started,
- get breadboards (they have really tiny ones for less than a dollar, also get a couple bigger ones)
- 'dupont' cables - couple dollars for a few hundred. I suggest getting two packs from different sellers, some of them are kinda crummy.
- Get some male and female headers,
- protoboard of various sizes,
- leds (look for packs of LED + resistors to get free resistors - usually the price with em is the same as without)
- resistors (get some of those packs along with some bulk ones of stuff you use often like 10k.)
- pots (10k,100k, 50k just a mix... )
- pushbuttons with caps and 'tactile' pushbuttons
- caps (get some packs, a couple electrolytic of various values - watch for voltage rating, some will have high UF but be like 16v)
- arduino (get a couple big ones with female headers and a bunch of the mini and pro)
- few 16x2 lcds.
- solder 'pump' (better than braids in my opinion)
Ummm i probably forgot some stuff but that's a good list, with a meter and soldering iron you're probably looking at $100 for a decent kit.
Doing it incrementally is the best way so you sorta know what you use most of.
