All I want is my TTYs.

Can I install the unity and
apt-get purge *unity* 
apt-get autoremove 
or do I still get leftover garbage?

I tried the network install and I got issues.
I installed only the core but even after hand-loading the kernel in the Grub's command line initrmfs said it was missing something and it's crippled.

Google ubuntu netinstall. First link. Dont select anything when asked to install software. done

I did this but
1) grub couldn't see windows
2)grub wouldn't even boot the ubuntu install

I guess I'll try again.
