Ive upgraded my Raspberry Pi 2 Desktop replacement. Since they've upgraded Iceweasel to Firefox-ESR youtube videos works as fast as never before, BUT the sound is broken on some streams. It has high background white noise and sounds like the audio is slowed down. Does anyone know how to fix this? Upgrading to latest stable firefox brings youtube back to the crawl. I guess ESR has PI hardware acceleration implemented. Bare in mind that some video formats play no problem with proper sound, even youtube live streams. The PI is overclocked to 1100 MHz and has 128 MB of video RAM set up.
To be more audio streams sould like the characters from Gobliiins talking.
Also, ask the guy who uses RPI2 as his shitposting machine anything. The other RPI thread is shit and I've missed it before creating this thread. I hope this one will eventually fill with meaningful discussion.

This is a serious thread about a serious bug. We are on /g/, not on /pol/ or /v/. Stay classy, mate.
Have anyone tried the experimental GPU driver lately? Is it stable now?
For example this video works 100% fine.
Help me solve this mistery, /g/.
Come the fuck on /g/. You all claim to be leet hackers. Nobody on entire /g/ works as a Gnu/Linux software developer?
By the way, is there anything I can do to improve my minimalistic battlestation?
>watching videos in web browser
>not using mpv with RPi hardware decoding
wew lad

use and force flash player
much lower cpu usage on yt senpai

Can I use MPV to stream live youtube transmissions? That's new to me.
>Use and force flash player
Like gnash or lightening?
This sounds ultra retarded.
Flash has 0, null, none hardware acceleration on Raspberry Pi.
For normal videos/movies I can use OmxplayerGui. I want to watch live Donald Trump streams on my Raspberry Pi.
Somebody told me about MPV in some ancient thread, but it turned out to be shit in comparison to omxplayergui.py

Nobody ever claimed to be a 1337 hacker, this is just your prejudice
>>55094201
never ever
Yawn. I came back to /g/ just to witness how slow it became. What happened? Is there a better thread on /g/ right now that's not a complete shitposting festival?

Just something off topic.
Would it be possible to array multiple PI, and make them work as one machine?
It certainly wouldn't be practical, but pretty interesting.
