i have many data to backup.
I absolutely do not want to lost them.
i am about to buy an external blue ray burner to backup my data.
Do you think it's a good possibility for keeping for many years my data.
Use M-Disc blurays if you truly need long term storage. Mdiscs are for archival storage purposes and require specific bluray writers to write them.
If you just want it to last a few years then normal blurays are fine.

Mdisc blurays hold the exact same data as a normal bluray, you're probably looking at Mdisc DVDs which use the same tech but for DVD and not Bluray.
i have see the mdisc DVD but not the new one blue ray mdisc.
