I'm currently using windows 10 and honestly there is not a single day in which I don't think of switching to anything else.
Initially I saw the forced upgrade to be real shady, it's never necessary to do such thing unless you have an ulterior motive. However I still upgraded to w10 because I also saw really overblown shit, and I hate the current days of media manipulation where what seems slightly bad suddenly is much worse because there's an actual benefit to bashing a product and scare mongering with fake shit instead of promoting it.

Also, you want your desktop to look better or different, in those cases in my opinion those fucking look terrible, but I can see why they would want to change it. Windows 10 is also a dick when it comes to ricing. All I want is something that looks decent and Windows 10 doesn't offer it, 7 can.

You're really not. I've been primarily using Linux for close to 15 years now, and I've spent only a fraction of that time having with dual boot set up. And only a fraction of that actually needing to use Windows.

Which is why, instead of autistically insisting on using some specific software that only runs on Windows, I use something that runs natively on Linux and does basically the same thing. The only real exception is the occasional game.

I have Window 10 on my Desktop PC, with all the trackers desinstalled it's okay. I like the UI and besides the low optimisation and the fact it's itself a fuckin spying malware, it's an okay OS and a good Windows. (with a bit of ricing btw)
