For real, if it really happens, then I don't know why you guys use Arch. They have a great wiki, but I'd rather use Debian with a minimal net install and build a DE from there.
2 times I updated Fedora and something serious broke requiring a reinstall.

Shit like this is why I moved back to Windows and just use *nix from a vm. Desktop Linux is unstable as hell. I need to get shit done, not waste time getting shit working. VM gives you the best of both worlds, "it just werks" stable host OS + Linux development environment.
