my girlfriend bought me a bomb making kit for my birthday a few days ago (arduino 2560 - pic related).
What would /g/ do if they had an arduino 2560 and a budget of $50 USD?

Plant watering system, maybe? Nothing too fancy, just something that detects whether any pots it's connected to are getting too dry.
Gods know I'd need something like that in order to keep plants alive.

in all seriousness build a pinball machine with it.
you just need to put down money for flippers and such or you can recycle shit and make it work.
you can also use it to monitor and auto control a greenhouse eg. set timings for plants to be watered based on moisture levels, humidity, control lights etc
there's heaps you could do with such a tiny computing unit.
