I have to find a new ISP this week, and it's been awhile. Centurylink hates me, but other than them, any good experiences with other ISPs who work in the SW US?

is.... is that a... shit sandwich? 0.0

Honestly just hire a satelite service in your own area.
Beats having to deal with shitstorms of lag and datacaps.
However you're gonna get alot of latency.
>>55064454
How much latency?
>>55064454
>satelite service
>Beats having to deal with shitstorms of lag and datacaps
nice-u bait-u desu
>>55065371
About 300 MS Ping.
>>55065402
Actually there are plently of low speed non data caped Satelite services, and you're not exposed to the usual "Everyone in this town is using this internet to download shit so I can't download shit" drama.
>>55065424
If you can't buy high-speed internet anyway, what's the point of a data cap? It's all capped.
>>55065424
>300 MS
when i had hughesnet satellite internet i had around 1600ms ping. also a 10gb per month data cap and it cost $90 a month
>>55064454
Satellite is awful. I barely get 1 mbps download, and I lose connection all the time. And I live in Ohio, not Alaska or some shit. There are only 2 ISPs that cover my house for whatever reason, and they're both satellite. If I lived down the road I could get cable, shit sucks.

What did you do?
>>55065647
You got real fucking lucky.
>early hughesnet
>speeds that make dialup look like ftth
>ping that was +5000ms
>$100 month plus $10 for every 100mb you went over the 1gb cap
>>55062120
Those look like shit burgers--literally like someone took a massive shit on a burger bun.
>>55064445
You wash them down with a giant douche.
