Am I missing something obvious here with Linux or is it nVidia being shit? I've tried MATE, GNOME, KDE and XFCE and they all show this. Seeing as Wayland isn't ready yet, are we stuck with this?

The kernel and X.org both had to be patched... Current status is that everyone's waiting for these patches to land in the package repos...
This issue existed for more than 6 years, took them several years to realize and finding solutions, took them 2+ years to fix... Pathetic
