1070 beats a Titan X and it's gonna eventually be $380, and may drop lower if the Radeon 480 is some beast at $200 when it comes out.

1070 is out. It may only be in the Founder's Edition which is like $450, and I think availability is limited so there's gouging going on. There's probably a website somewhere set up to track availability.

Return the cards and deal with a cheap burner for a couple months the base 1070 will be 380, and the 1080 base model is 610.

If you paid more than $140 for it than yes, you fucked up bad.
You could get the same performance out of a $200 RX 480 in two weeks time, or 20% better performance at the same price from a 1070.
