Did you just have a brain seizure?
I got all my porn and anime served through a samba share that's only accessible through a different username than my windows machine, so I have to put in a name and password whenever I mount it.
I come to find out windows cannot remember the password I put in whenever it reboots, so even when I check the box to remember the password, I have to re-enter it whenever I restart my desktop

I had the exact same issue. You can however mount drives using a batch script and just put that batch script in autostart.
The command is "net use X: \\host\share password /user:yourusername"
That worked for me.
