Does anyone else find that iPhones hog a ton of bandwidth?

My internet is kinda slow. Like 750 kb/s max on torrents, but they're installing fiber on my road so it'll be a lot faster soon. It's good enough for what I do now though.

But whenever any of my family members come to visit (they all have iPhones) my internet just gets devastated. Even if there's only one.
I have an HTC One and that barely uses any even if I'm streaming a video or some music, and I'm still able to play a game or download something on my computer at the same time.

Does anyone else experience this?

Yeah on my slowass 500 kb/s internet everything runs fine but as soon as someone comes with an apple device all of the bandwith is hogged up.

Doesn't happen if someone comes with their android or laptop, just fucking apple devices. Glad I'm not the only one who experiences this.
