Why haven't you ditched bloated, overengineered databases like Postgres and SQLite for Berkeley DB yet?

Reminder that SQL has no place in modern software development that should embrace performance and simplicity.

Pfft, use it before under openldap.
It will corrupt your db if unclean shutdown or maybe some random thing.
Sure you can recover by running recovery manually.

Actually, this looks pretty good. I don't understand the license, but it looks like it was in core python up to 2.7
