It's fantastic.

Sure, it's easy to compare it to a Swiss army knife vs a full workroom of gimp, but you can do almost everything with it. And it's scriptable, and the operations are composable, so applying the same operation to a dozen, or a thousand, pictures is as easy as it is for one.
