My company got me an iPad and I figured let's go whole(-wheat) hipster and learn Node.js. How can I do node development on iOS (preferably locally for bus rides to/from work)?

In my searching I believe you can create apps that use node under the hood but that requires a Mac and their xcode ide. I want to use.

I want to write and run the code on the iPad itself so that I can dick around and learn node.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, just SSH into a VPS or something. Like I said I was hoping for something local for times with no wifi and/or shitty cell service.
