I made a to-do list for the next time I reinstall Windows on my gaymen rig:
0) Install updates and drivers
1) Install chocolately
2) Use choco to install adobereader, firefox-dev, flashplayerplugin, flashplayeractivex, notepadplusplus.install, javaruntime, 7zip.install, vlc, steam, origin, f.lux, inkscape, qbittorrent, windirstat, putty.install, android-sdk, veracrypt, 7-taskbar-tweaker
3) Manually install Tresorit
4) In Acrobat Reader DC, disable Tools pane (Documents preferences), disable Open as new tabs (General), disable cloud services with empty DWORD "bUpdater" under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices, disable welcome banner with empty DWORD "bShowWelcomeScreen" under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cWelcomeScreen, and disable Home and Tools tabs by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroApp\ENU and moving AppCenter_R.aapp and Home.aapp to folder "Disabled" (or just renaming them).
5) Restore Firefox profile, if applicable. Otherwise just restore uBlock Origin block list, saved passwords, settings, enable spellcheck in all areas, YouTube center, and Hide Plugin Notifications.
6) Install Take Ownership windows registry mod.
7) Disable Windows Store automatic updates.
8) Disable Microsoft Edge.

11) To fix time sync issues with Linux, set 32-bit DWORD RealTimeIsUniversal to "1" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation.
12) Fix wallpaper JPEG compression with DWORD JPEGImportQuality in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop with value 100
13) Pick a good wallpaper, with background set to either fill or span. Set screensaver to CristalWave or AerialScreenSaver.
