Sadly no. I use nvidia when it's appropriate. My desktop has a 960 2gb in it. My gaming rig has/had a 7770 in it. And my laptop has a 5770m.
I got the 960 for 180$ a couple months after launch. It was too good of a deal.

Warranty lasts 3 years, and if the driver update says it applies to your card, then it should update your card as well. Saying you added support for AAA Game 2016 in your software but left out series 4xx, 5xx, and 6xx in the coding is malevolence.

GTX 660 owner here.
TF2 max settings around 80FPS with random stutters, hangs, lags.
TF2 at lowest possible settings 40-50FPS with same amount of stuttering. 24 hours since driver update and still no patches.
I don't know, if they fail so bad, then I'm gonna transition over AMD when I'll get a chance to buy new GPU.

What does this have to do with anything? If your card breaks up to 3 years in, you can still replace it. Nvidia is not breaking any contract with you here.

You know damn well this isn't what people are accusing Nvidia of. They're accusing Nvidia of making their cards perform worse than they would before the update. Nvidia might be lazy, but they're not doing what people are accusing them of doing.

They don't specifically say "We updated our drivers for League of Legends on all cards", they update their drivers and the old cards might not get the updates. But the drivers are still applicable to those older cards, and usable, they just don't get optimized. There is no reason to assume a 3-4 year old card would get all included updates forever.
I have a GTX 670, haven't updated drivers in a few weeks, I'm satisfied with how it performs and I got my money out of it for the years that I owned it.
Nvidia doesn't OWE me optimization for the latest graphics that are coming out. That's asinine.
