Who gives a shit about your grade? My guess is no one. So you shouldn't give a shit, just improve yourself.
Go to competitions and win them. Winners usually get an interview at a company. Plus if it's a somewhat large event with then it shows good on your CV.

You could just get a shitty low level laptop for jack shit, better yet, buy one second hand, to get you through classes. If it's a slow piece of shit, just slap a cheap SSD on it, and it'll last long enough until you're done with classes.
Other than that, if you truly are smarter than the rest, just put it into practice. Fancy grades are good to have, but employers will value your work more than grades. Put time into side projects and open source projects or whatever else you can find, set yourself apart from the rest.

Besides, i dont really need to get myself a laptop , as the engineering parts(where exams were 100% hard as fuck theory) are done by now(im entering year 3).Its ultimately my fault that I did not opt for a CS major, as I would have got the diploma after 3 years.
I'll join the year 3 competitions(usually 1-2 /year here) and learn the whole summer for a job.Jobs in programming(entry) are very few here.
