Hi guys,
I've been looking at several reviews for a good external hd. Im looking for a minimum 2TB, not more expensive than $300 and its going to be sat at the desk at all times for backup of my photos and whatnot.
All the reviews I read is about WB or Seagate drives and these two brands are famous for being unreliable. What I need is for the drive to be reliable and stable.
Does not matter if its 3,5" or 2,5" I guess 3,5 is cheaper?

Not that guy, but nobody refers to external hard drives as HDs. People will think you're an idiot.
approved /g/ answer: buy an enclosure for $30 off Amazon and throw whatever hard drive you want on there
my answer: go to Costco and buy on of their Seagate 5TB, they're like $120 on sale which is cheaper than anything else.
