FUCK.
I HAD THIS EXACT MOUSE.
I wish I didn't lose it when I moved.
It was an OPTICAL mouse from 1984 which used the lines on the pad to work.
TRACKBALL MASTERRACE

I know someone who uses this as their main mouse.
No joke.

How often do you need to clean yours?
>>54947070
I do it approx twice a month
>>54946400
Omg, I had that exact mouse cover without glasses.
Nostalgia'd hard.

I've got one or two rattling around here somewhere. I think I got a pad (more a plate, since it's steel) in my desk.
Anyone know a cement mouse?
>>54946422
Had that one. Yeah, it sucked.
>>54946454
Used these back in high school, since you couldn't do Pascal on the IIe.
>>54946470
Had one or two of these.

Monitors are usually worse. A monitor was officially a piece of shit if it stopped working before it turned yellow.
I still miss having a real middle button.

The mouse that came with my Amiga 600 was kind of comfy.

>being so dusty that you have to have a unique shield for all of your devices

If you live in an apartment without any forced air and you haven't bothered to buy or cobble together a HEPA unit (/diy/ can tell you how to do it with a cheap furnace filter), you'll have about 10 times the airborne particulate no matter how well you clean. I know this because I have a particle sensor I like to play with. I'm continuously coughing up fluid when I visit an apartment dweller.
>>54950259
I reside in /diy/, ive seen the filter you speak of.
I dont use forced air.
Do have window fans, never clean. dust is at a minimum.
I do think it gets worse with age though, so if you are old then that might explain it.

I had an Amiga mouse. I thought it was comfy until I got the new mouse that came with an Amiga 4000. Then I realized how UNcomfy the old Amiga mouse was in the hands.

Why do glass cutting boards exist?
>>54951716
So people can put them on their electric stove tops and turn the wrong burner on causing them to completely explode the next time they touch it? idk. Happened with one of those giant pyrex enchilada pans to my dad once.

Some dude had a toy and a cat, and he decided to make the cat watch the toy and film his reaction.

Someone could probably make a lot of money starting the mechanical mouse meme like the mechanical keyboard one.
Real hardcore gamers need to clean the lint out of their mouse ball every few days.

already happening, just add "vintage" to the title
