So /g/ have any of you been successful in generating any kind of video signals (VGA, RCA, coaxial, anything at all) using an 8 bit micro?

They did the exact same thing at my uni and I was able to do it and I'm a fucking idiot. Granted all we had to do was make a ball bounce around on the screen, but still.
It really isn't difficult on a FPGA.
