Because the UI is worse than 7 Aero which already looks outdated, Cortana and DX12 are bloat and useless for me, The entire OS is spyware and random 100% disk usage even with an SSD. There are no fucking improvements from 7 or 8.1

This was tried last year when the OS first released. If you're on Ultimate W7, you get Home, not Pro.
I have W10 on another partition, I haven't booted to it since August. The OS is useless unless you're gaming, and even then there are games that don't work or games that didn't work in 7/8.1 suddenly working.

Upgraded to Windows 10 on my laptop soon after it came out. Missed the downgrade window. I'm selling my current one and putting Win7 on my new laptop.
While I appreciate Windows looking out for me and telling me 'You can disable this if you want, but don't worry, we'll turn it back on again in a little while!', I don't really NEED that level of, you know, pervasive privacy intrusion. Thanks, though.

As for the rest: I've actually had trouble getting my camera to work on Linux. But it didn't originally work on Windows either, I had to download some driver online when I still used windows.
Windows basically praises itself to "just work" with everything, but honestly I mostly use my computer for programming and web browsing, so Linux is perfect for me.
