What software does /g/ use to maintain their Macs? I'm using MacKeeper, but is that sufficient or should I use anything else?

Don't use anything. There's nothing to really maintain.
apt does a good job maintaining the software on my mac

Years ago I used Onyx, I'm pretty sure it's still around. It's like CCleaner, it clears temp files and shit like that. You should also use a program like AppCleaner to fully "uninstall" apps. I think the /g/ wiki (wiki.installgentoo.com) has an OS X software guide as well.
Does anyone know if there's a way to manage .pkg installations on MacOS X? It seems to be a one-way process with no standarized way to uninstall. And it looks like some .pkgs don't even have a way to "uninstall" them either.
Is there any software to manage them in a more sane manner?

Please tell me you aren't serious. I've never heard of someone intentionally installing MacKeeper. And have yet to see it installed on a machine without BHO's and alike.
