It's a 1.67GHz processor, fyi. And it's the most durable computer I've ever owned. I got it in late 2005 (when it was released) and it doesn't have a scratch or bend on it, and the keyboard on it is by far the best keyboard of any laptop. It's truly GOAT design.

Not only can you get a usb-c to HDMI cable for literally 4 dollars. But there's cheap adapters for everything else you guys have mentioned. At this stage it's literally if apple doesn't do it none of the other notebook manufacturers will. This includes adopting usb-c. It's a better standard that handles all use cases. The fact that Apple replaced the keyboard to the retarded Chiclet-style keys in the MacBook and made it thinner (meaning possible heat issues or less battery size) put me off. The USB is not really a bother, only if they are like HP with their Spectre and include a USB C to USB type A adapter in the box, which is unlikely.
I work at an electronics store near the customer service section. You would not believe how many Macbooks get returned compared to rMBPs and Macbook Airs. Apple has a huge flop on their hands.
