Actually, check ifixit's teardown; both the S7 and the edge are difficult (and likely costly) to repair.
Samsung sewed up all that shit so tight that it's almost impossible not to fuck up the screen if you have to fiddle with the shit behind it.
Or if the usb port fucks up.
Basically, if you get an s7 of either type, never drop it and hope that, if you're planning on keeping it after the warranty runs out, that it doesn't spontaneously fuck up on you.
More so perhaps that more easily repaired phones out there.

I like using nova, and I've been carting around the same set of icons around in every phone that I must use due to autism (the symbols and their meaning have long been etched into my brain) and nova has the easiest way of swapping around homescreen icons.
Thing is, I'd like to do this whilst also using an amoled friendly Samsung dark/black theme.

Depends if your'e fine MiUi or not. MiUi is a skin on top of android that basically looks like iOS. if your'e ok with that you don't need to do anything. if you'll hate it though, yeah you gonna need to flash different ROM's like AOSP or CM13. it's not very hard but can be quite annoying.

Does anyone have the exynos version of the S7? Anon in the last thread said the UI never stuttered for him, but I have not yet seen a single S7 review that didn't show at least a bit of stutter, or unresponsiveness. They could all have been the S820 version for all I know, can anyone clear this up?
I've also used an S6 edge and scrolling was always stuttery.
