Depends on the laptop.
Brand laptops tend to be kinds difficult to open, because you have to remove a lot of screws and stuff like your keyboard. As you said, though, there are a ton of guides, so it's hard to screw up.
The cleaning part is easy: get a can of pressurized air and blow air from the inside out to blow the dust away. If you want to be meticulous, you can also remove the coolers and clean them individually, but not too necessary imo.
Tl;dr look up how to open up your laptop and if you think you can do it, just do it; get a can of compressed air and blow away the dust. That's it.

No you don't defrag an ssd because it wastes write cycles and is literally pointless since it's a solid disk i.e. no fragmentation. Your OS should send TRIM commands when needed but you can do that manually by using the software provided by the manufacturer (download from their website if not available) i.e. wear level count 9you can see this from the smart values as well to see if it has performed this recently).

you can't make a dvd in cd-audio format, because they're formatted differently
