So, /g/. I been using linux for quite a while now, but mainly Terminal only for work related stuff.
In the next day, i'll upgrade my home desktop PC changing from a HDD to a SSD and, well, i plan to install linux for a change this time.
Coming from debian. What options on distros do i have for a desktop pc? I want something not so bloated so i can install shit individualy, and try and match.
I was thinking lubuntu.
No, ill not install gentoo

Lubuntu is a good choice. Even more minimal would be Ubuntu minimal or just straight up Debian testing. Lubuntu works out of the box, if that's important to you.

Yes, ubuntu is good. Just remember to install gstreamer/pulseaudio
Well I hate Ubuntu. Everyone does secretly, even the Ubuntu Developers/Users. At least thats my point of view.
I rly like Debian, but recently I switched to Fedora. Both working fine for me.

Don't bait me, I love my ubuntu :|

Retard detected

LXDE is shit, XFCE is far better. Unless you have a computer pre 2000, use xubunti.

>Debian testing
Somebody here does not know how debian branches work
>>54894205
Not, cause I simply dont like Canonical.
Its just a retarded company doing retarded things.
Instead of doing things with others, or including their ideas into other open source projects, they prefer to fail with their own shit.

Debian Testing and Debian Sid are good options for desktop use. You should stick with those IMO.
