What does everyone think about that $100 Windows/Android Chuwi Hi8 tablet everyone keeps shilling on /g/? Specs look really decent except for the camera.
>>
>>54883645
People are shilling Hi10, not Hi8.
Hi8 has some issues with battery and bios or something.

Hey goys

I have a relative who designs the "as seen on TV" toys and gizmos. He works extensively with the chink factory people, and he knows the ins and outs of how much they make on a product/how much it costs to make. And stuff like that.

so ask me any questions about chink factory secrets or what have you. I know a bit.

btw there is a high chance that the packaging of your chink (excluding large electronics) shit cost more than the product.
Those piston earbud things? Yeah the fancy packaging most likely cost more than the earbuds themselves

For most chinky chink stuff, about 400%.

You'll see 250-300% thrown around a lot, but that's an extremely conservative number. When it comes down to it, factoring in corruption and the "magic powers" of the chink currency, it's really 400+%.

There are very few exceptions to this number.
>>
>>54884683
How difficult would it be to directly purchase from a factory if I want 5000 cables and how likely is it that they'll mix in some faulty ones to increase profit?

Hey /csg/!

Any idea how I can consolidate all the goods into one shipment that I bought from different sellers from AliExpress?
I mean it would cut the customs cost here instead of the goods arriving at different times.

DX.com has this option I don't know why AliExpress does not have it.
>>
>>54884857
1.5-1.7GB
>>
>>54884831
Would not be difficult in the slightest.
Money is money.

As for faulty items - if they say that there is a 1/1000 failure rate, and you buy 5000 of them, you can be sure as fuck that there are exactly 5 ded items in the shipment.

Often. manufacturers will literally have a "low quality" production line and a "high quality" production line in the same factory.

The actual cost difference between the two, for the chinks, is very small.

But some buyers want the "hugh quality," and some are fine with "low quality."

The biggest Jews are the Chinese, I tell ya

It's cheaper for the Chinese companies to ship a pallet of stuff than for them to pay someone to package lots of little boxes.

I like the tablet in terms of specs but i would settle for a more reliable brand. Definately.

Been having a bunch of charging problems with mine and i've managed to make it charge for now when plugged into a more reliable QC 2.0 wallcharger but i'm still kinda on the edge since that tablet has broken ( don't ask me how ) the original charger.

Perhaps go for Teclast? Anyhoo, just google the tablet for common problems before ordering it.

>>54885067
My uneducated guess is that the packaging is done at another factory and some employees at the primary factory run a ghost shift without upper management knowing. So they have a batch of "unofficial" product and no way to package them. So they sell them out the "back door".

Sing a poor, Hung Kong, Chink Post (aka sellers' basic free option on Aliexpress) to Hungary:

Minimum time: 10 days.
Maximum time: 56 days.
Never had a lost package.

1-2 years ago it was usual that the seller either gave no tracking number or put in a fake one. Nowadays it's 85% tracked until the package arrived in the destination country.

Never tried any other option (DHL, etc.) because I think the whole waiting is just part of the whole chinkyorder experience I got so addicted with.

ali works like ebay stores, you're buying stuff from multiple sellers, not from the same company.

I just lost a springbar a while ago (it just jumped away and completely disappeared), so I checked the prices on Ali, and saw that I could get 100 for $1.53, so why not?

Nice! Speaking about $1.50 stuff. I got some fake Casio's on the way. I'm not sure if they have logos on them. I also ordered a real one from Singapore.

In /g/'s archives one anon reports they get +/- 20 secs per day on his fake. So I won two on ebay the same day and bidded again the next day and won another one. A real one is +/- 30 secs per month.

Here's a link on the real one I ordered http://www.ebay.com/itm/142009068913
The fakes, just search "Steel Digital Watch" on ebay.

REVIEW 1/2

BAMBOO TOWEL FROM ALIEXPRESS

This item was shipped by China Post and took 20 days to arrive to the UK. The towel itself feels really nice, very soft and absorbent. It's quite thin but that means it dries quicker. Much softer than a cotton towel and the perfect size for your face and hands. The design isn't great but it's not bad either. It didn't smell much when it arrived but I washed it anyway before using. I don't know how this towel will hold up over time but it feels quite sturdy and is cheap enough to replace often. I don't like to keep towels for too long anyway as they tend to lose softness. Overall, I would recommend this towel and rate it 8/10.

REVIEW 2/2

GOOGLE CARDBOARD FROM ALIEXPRESS

Pretty good. The same as any other Google Cardboard from China, only cheaper. Arrived to the UK in 14 days by China Post. Not great quality, but neither are the rest of the Chinese ones. It was $0.70 when I bought it, however now it costs $0.95 due to the $0.25 shipping charge they've added. Unfortunately, the Moto G doesn't support VR because the gyro is shitty. I've given it to my friend. Overall, 7/10 if your phone supports it. If you haven't got one already, you may as well buy it for this price.
