I'm not learning a new language at the moment, but the most recent was Haskell
Still C, but many of the languages that I've learned have shaped my understanding on programming, so the style of C I write now is pretty different to how I used to write it.

It's only hard when you're old. I started learning Spanish two years ago, but it was quite painful, so I gave up for a while. It's quite an easy language, but I just can't find the motivation.

It can be a little difficult to find movivation for me too. One important reason I'm actually learning Spanish is so I can learn "how to learn a language" before with a easy language before I start on the really super difficult language I want to learn for years, Japanese.
Feels like there isn't as many interesting things I can find in Spanish compared to English or Japanese. Seems there's even more interesting literature/movies in French and Italian compared to Spanish.

Japanese isn't that difficult tho. There's just a shitton of kanji, the grammar is pretty easy unless you're delving into some ancient (pre 1200s) literature. If you really want to learn Japanese, just go for it. The sooner the better. The good news is that there are a lot of resources online; there are (or used to be) threads on /int/ and /a/ or /jp/, tonnes of cute animu you can practice on, etc.
