Is this a good anti malware program?

Sure why not.
Gentoo is the best antivirus.

Yeah it's decent

This and Spybot Search and Destroy are about the best you can get. I actually bought S&D for the anti-virus but I've been running commonsense as long as I can remember so no viruses anyway. Unless you count windows 10, it's basically a virus in itself.

Hitman worked for me back when I had an issue with malware years ago that malwarebytes was not able to find.

They think torrent clients are illegal and will ostracize you from their forum if you're caught with one running.

Is this a problem in the free version? I rarely ever use torrents, but there are some sites (like Humble) that offer torrent versions of their downloads and I keep the software on hand just in case. If I want to switch to Malwarebytes free without the active scanning will I need to get rid of the torrent software?
i use it to determine whether i need to nuke and pave someones computer when they ask me to look at it if malware detected > 0, nuke
