Sup /g/entoos,

Don't know if it's board related, be kind, mods. /v/irgins sent me here.

I was thinking of getting a single tile 1440p/Gsync for my 1070. But some insanely cheap (90$) Samsung 1080p monitors caught my eye. I'm thinking of triple-monitoring them. They're actually pretty good. No glare, okay color reproduction, 8ms latency and pretty cheap. SD300 if you wanna look it up. I could get 5 of those and still have budget left over.

How good is trip-monitor? For gayming, "productivity", etc. And should I divide by 3 when looking at 1080p benchmarks to see what my performance would be like?

Another problem, they are all HDMI(monitors). Can I use a male-to-male Displayport to HDMI for those?

Peace and go fuck yourselves.

It's good for some games, others suck.
Make sure the moniyors have tiny bezels.

It's kind of gimmicky. Just go with one good monitor. At first three monitors will be cool, but you'll regret it later when not all games are supported properly and you don't even find yourself using the two side screens. Productivity wise, 1440p is pretty good, although I can see the allure of dual screens, since some programs are best run as full screen, like CAD programs.

save up for a 3440x1440 acer predator

Take a look. Kind look big in the picture but it's slightly over an inch. Not a deal breaker. 22" 1080p monitors. i'm taken aback by the price.

Sorry, I meant half an inch.

But the gimmick looks bretty gud, goyim. Especially since I play Adventure/RPG and strategy games. Wide FOV and "cinematics" are something I care about. I would get 3x1440 but no card can drive it and I'm not going triple-SLI.

21:9? How good is it really?
