Polaris has already won for AMD, RX480 is just below regular Fury in speed, for $199...
That's on-par if not faster than the 1070 for less than half the price...
CPU side, Zen has proven behind closed doors to live upto expectations of being just shy of Skylake IPC - only thing we don't know if the pricing.
If AMD can put out an 8core/16thread 4ghz Zen less than $800 they've won that market too...
