Macfag here.
Is Transmission safe to download again?
I switched to Deluge when there was that ransomware thing, but now I might go back to Transmission because it's just better. Don't want that ransomware though.

maybe you should consider protection OP..
although, on the other hand the only viruses it detects are in my freaking yaho inbox folder
>>54860609
yes. Dont download bullshit
>>54860719
the ransomware was in transmission itself lol. luckily somehow skipped it

>>54860609
deluge is better anyway
>>54861107
I use it mostly as interactive firewall though and it does find windows viruses

Yep.
Not really related, but I just started using an external seedbox instead of local torrents and I don't think I'll go back. So much quicker and easier.

I disagree. Transmission is nicer on mac because it's native, not GTK. And it's just simpler and better designed. Deluge is always my go-to on Windows though because all the alternatives are shit
>>54861849
Alright I'll risk it, fuck it
If I get ransomware, tough shit to me I guess

Yes it's safe again.
>>54862918
Qbittorrent is buggy trash.
>>54862918
As I said, shit.
>>54861135
>proprietary firewall

qSTALLED meme
Don't be a dummy. Install deluge in a docker image in a virtual machine. SAFE AS FUCK.
