What does /g/ use to listen to music?

I've been using mpd+ncmpcpp and pic related, but are there better alternatives?
How is spotify?
How much albums/artists are missing from it?
Is it good offline?
Other alternatives ?
It just seems like such a hassle, finding and downloading your music manually

My ipod touch 3. The home button is unresponsive, there's a huge dot of dead pixels on the corner, the battery simply died if I use it actively for 30 minutes, I hate itunes, etc.

But, fuck it, I love it. I f I just use it for music only, it stays for like a week. There's zero problem for the playback and the menus, other than the fact sometimes the album cover isn't appear. The fact it's 32 gb is also really great even if it's not that big.

FM radio. Somebody else is working to find organize change tunes, free of charge! Sometimes there is also an semi-interesting talk show. Occasionally I have to press change station . This shit is still bothering me.

I'm using a sansa clip+ with rockbox but I have like 10gb of music. If you don't like owning your music and you want to be dependent on the internet use a phone desu
>>
>>54855060
Same for me.

Also people hating on music players usually don't care about music quality or have huge batteries or don't own a lot of music.
>>

>10gb of music
wait what's your favorite music genre? ringtones?
>>
>>54855060
Yeah, but I have like 200 gigs of music that I have to compress so it fits on my 64gig sd card. The main bother is having to actively search for new albums and downloading them. Maybe I need something that just automizes this

>How is spotify?
It's alright. Linux client has gotten better.

>How much albums/artists are missing from it?
A whole lot. The avalibility if albums and songs shifts all the time. My playlists lose a song or two every month.

>Is it good offline?
No.

>Other alternatives ? It just seems like such a hassle, finding and downloading your music manually.

It is. I haven't logged into what.cd in a month.

Ringtones? What are you saying?

>What does /g/ use to listen to music?
A smartphone.

>I've been using mpd+ncmpcpp and pic related, but are there better alternatives?
There are streaming services, iPods, and physical CDs, I guess.
>How is spotify?
Good, but Google Play Music All Access is a bit better imo
>How much albums/artists are missing from it?
I've only run across a very few handful of artists that aren't on Google Play Music. Quite a few more are missing from Spotify.
>Is it good offline?
Spotify? I don't know. I haven't used it enough. Google Play Music allows you to keep albums offline by pressing the thumbtack button. You can't access the raw files, though.
>Other alternatives ?
G-Google Play Music...are you listening?
>It just seems like such a hassle, finding and downloading your music manually
Yeah, I had to stop years ago because of that. Seriously, collecting music is horse shit. I could only afford to have like 200 albums at a time on my old iPod. Streaming is a lot more convenient. Now I have a few thousand albums in my library and counting.

To be fair, my laptop has some pretty good speakers.

PowerAmp on my galaxy

He was saying if your whole library is only 10gb then you must only be into ringtones (generally 15-30 seconds long).

I just got a sands clip sport. I used to use my phone but my battery dies too quickly.
